IM-Titel für Marius Fromm!

Bei der Schach-Europameisterschaft in Vrnjacka Banja (Serbien) dreht Marius Fromm richtig auf. Mit 4,5 Punkten aus 8 Partien gegen äußerst starke Gegnerschaft, ist ihm die zum Titel noch notwendige dritte Norm nicht mehr zu nehmen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch lieber Marius!

Spannend ist auch die Qualifikation zum Weltcup. Insgesamt 23 Spieler qualifizieren sich für dieses Top-Event. Nach 8 Runden liegen mit Ivan Cheparinov, Andrey Esipenko, Jonas Bjerre und Szymon Gumularsz gleich vier Doppelbauern geteilt auf Rang 4-30. Heute kommt es dabei zu der Paarung Esipenko - Bjerre. Übrigens mußte auch Marius schon mit zwei Doppelbauern die Klinge kreuzen. Dabei gelang ihm ein Sieg gegen Daniil Yuffa.
