Aufgrund verschiedener glücklicher Umstände erhält unser Bundesligaspieler IM David Gavrilescu eine riesige Chance. Ab morgen darf er sich beim Superbet Schnellschach- und Blitzturnier in Warschau mit neun absoluten Weltklassespielern, darunter zum Beispiel auch Anand, Aronian und Caruana, messen. Die Veranstalter wollten unbedingt einen Rumänen und nach dem gesundheitsbedingten Rückzug unseres anderen rumänischen Starspielers GM Konstantin Lupulescu wählte man David aus. Neben seinem jungen Lebensalter (18) spielte bestimmt sein hervorragender dritter Platz beim Super Chess Rapid in Bukarest bei seiner Nominierung eine tragende Rolle. Alles super also! Die Partien werden zum Beispiel hier übertragen.
