Im Alltagsgeschäft und bei der Vorbereitung des GM-Turniers sind zwei schöne Kieler Erfolge ein wenig unbeachtet geblieben. Die beiden Medalliengewinner sollen aber auch an dieser Stelle noch ihre gebührende Ehrung erhalten. Martha Michna bei den Frauen und Jakob Leon Pajeken in der offenen Klasse holten bei der am Wochenende in Lübeck stattgefundenen Deutschen Schnellschachmeisterschaft eine Bronzemedallie. Deutscher Meister der offenen Klasse wurde GM Rasmus Svane, bei den Frauen gewann FM Lara Schulze.
