Am Wochenende ist die Einzel-Europameisterschaft in Reykjavik zu Ende gegangen. Nach 11 Runden setzte sich unser Spitzenspieler der ersten Bundesligamannschaft Anton Demchenko durch und holte sich den Titel Europameister. Herzliche Glückwünsche! Dabei behielt er in den 11 Runden seine weiße Weste und teilte sich fünfmal die Punkte. Ebenfalls auf 8,5 Punkten, aber mit schlechterer Feinwertung kam der erst 16-jährige Vincent Keymer, der für Deutschland die Silbermedaille sicherte.
Weiterhin wurden gute Ergebnisse der anderen Doppelbauern erzielt:
Jonas Bjerre verbesserte sich von Startrang 48 auf Platz 22 und holte 7 Punkte. Jesper Thybo landete am Ende auf Platz 30, ebenfalls mit 7 Punkten. David Gravilescu verbesserte sich auch gegenüber seinem Startrang und landete mit 6 Punkten auf Platz 56.
