Noch bis Sonntag findet in Bodenmais (Bayern) die offene Deutsche Meisterschaft der Frauen statt. Mit am Start auch zwei Doppelbauern: Mieke und Janne Rempe spielen ein gutes Turnier. Beide haben nach 7 Runden 3,5 Punkte und liegen auf Platz 6 und 7 (von 12).
Mieke gelang gegen die 600 Punkte stärkere erfahrene Spielerin Brigitte Von Herman ein sehr schönes Remis. Nach einem coolen Bauernopfer im Spanier nutzte sie die schlechte Königsstellung der mit schwarz spielenden Berlinerin zu einem Dauerschach.
Auch Janne spielte eine schöne Partie gegen die 500 Punkte stärkere Vera Lorencova aus Tschechin. Mit 2 Bauern weniger ging sie auf Königsjagd und konnte alle Gewinnversuche der Gegnerin unterbinden. Nach 77 Zügen willigte sie schließlich ins Dauerschach ein.
