Ulla spielte vom 31.3. - 8.4. in Bad Wiessee bei den Deutschen Fraueneinzelmeisterschaften mit. In der Setzrangliste an 19 von 22 Spielerinnen gesetzt, war das Ziel, die Gegner zu ärgern und ein paar Punkte zu holen.
Dieses Ziel wurde übererfüllt, Ulla holte 4,5 Punkte und erreichte den 13. Platz. Allerdings spielte sie auch eine Patzerpartie, da sie mit Figur mehr gegen eine 400 Punkte bessere Gegnerin noch verlor.
Dafür hatte sie in der letzten Runde eine schöne Mattkombination, die sie auch fand :-)
