Bei der diesjährigen Europameisterschaft der Jugendlichen vertreten uns FM Keyvan Farokhi und FM Harvard Haug. Diese findet im beschaulichen Prag statt. Viel Sightseeing bleibt sicher nicht übrig, denn die Gegnerschaft in der U18 und in der U14 ist immens. Mit einer ELO von 2307 ist Keyvan in der U18 auf Rang 35 und Harvard mit einer ELO von 2315 auf Rang 9 der U14 gesetzt. Nach fünf von neun Runden liegt Keyvan mit 3 Punkten über dem Schnitt. Harvard kommt sogar auf 4,5 Punkte und liegt damit auf Rang 3. Für die zweite Hälfte des Turnieres wünschen wir beiden viel Erfolg!
Glückwünsche gibt es aber bereits für den Titel Blitzeuropameister U14, den sich Harvard sicherte.
